FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who is behind Trinity?

A: A bunch of film enthusiasts who are committed to transmitting a director's vision rather than make a dime on an off-chance. Trinity was borne out of a passion for cinema by 3 individuals with diverse backgrounds, all converging in film. We believe in the power of strong cinema to break down barriers and increase its reach to audiences. Ultimately, a film with a compelling vision is deeply respectful of its audience. It's a win-win situation, rewarding for both the film-maker and the viewer.

Q: Where do you find your films?

A: We scout major film festivals and markets for new films to release in the UK and Ireland. In addition, we keep in touch with film-makers, producers and sales agents on a constant basis to make sure we're au fait with films in production and aware of any new talent  coming up anywhere in the world!

Q: How long before a film is released in cinemas?

A: At the shortest, 3-4 months after signing the film, in order to be able to get into the long-lead (magazine) press. There's no outward limit: some films are acquired but never released (Larry Clarke's Ken Park being one example). On average, between 6 to 12 months.

Q: I think I have a film for you –what do I do?

A: In first instance please do not send in materials but get in touch using the contact form.

Q: Do you get involved in film financing?

A: At this stage we are only looking at completed or near completed films. If your film is in post production looking for completion funding, you can get in touch with us. We regret that we cannot deal with films prior to this stage –yet!
